ABILITY DAYS
We have the Ability! Ability Days is a multi-faceted program offered to adults of all ages and abilities. Creating unique art pieces, adaptive sports and workout techniques, regional road trips to museums and parks, lessons in nutritional eating habits, songwriting with local professionals, yoga, and ballet, are just a few of the monthly adventures the ACVA adults participate in. The goal is to help create opportunities to develop social and life skills as they participate in activities and enjoy community outings with their peers. The group meets each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am – 4pm from September through May and is assisted by dedicated staff and volunteers. The Ability Days team knows there isn’t anything we can’t accomplish together, the sky’s the limit!
A service fee is assessed on a monthly basis. Need based scholarships are available.
